This famous noodle shop would be at home in Tokyo or Hong Kong, with its three narrow floors, the top one a no-shoes-allowed tearoom with sofas and floor seating. The second floor has regular table seating and a counter with benches along the window that offer great people-watching on the street below. It's a little more chic than your average noodle stand, and its location near the Hua Lamphong subway station makes it a good place to refuel before exploring the neighborhood or while waiting for your train. As the name implies, you can find plenty of noodle dishes here, but the rice dishes are equally good.
