Thieves Market

  • Address: Yaowarat Rd. and Chakraphet Rd., Chinatown, Bangkok

Fodor's Review:

The Thieves Market was once known for its reasonable prices for antiques, but stolen goods are no longer the order of the day. It's not worth a visit on its own, but as part of a greater Chinatown walk having a look in the covered lanes of stalls is interesting -- like a rabbit warren of little shops. Mostly electronic goods are sold and it really starts slowing down about 5 in the afternoon. For shopping, Chatuchak weekend market is much better.

  • Subway: Hua Lamphong
