Though this hotel is one of the largest in the city, service doesn't suffer—the staff is attentive and the rooms and other facilities are well maintained. It's connected to All Seasons Place, which has dozens of restaurants and shops. More importantly, on-site entertainment is top-notch; two great restaurants, Liu and Drinking Tea Eating Rice, are in the hotel. And you can dance the night away at 87 Plus or have a drink and listen to live jazz at the Diplomat Bar. A hotel shuttle bus is available to and from the Skytrain. Pros: good restaurants; fun nightlife; sprawling pool area. Cons: huge hotel; not on the river.

Have stayed here 3 times and enjoyed every visit. Very nice rooms and exemplary service. The club lounge provides great snacks and drinks and the service is usually excellent (although we did experience a few problems in the club lounge on one occasion. the buffet restarant is IMHO the best in Bangkok and the Japanese is also v.good.
