Why We Like It

Spacious, grand, and filled with every amenity you can ask for, the InterContinental is great for families, business travelers, and for those who just want to be in the middle of the action. Fans of the hotel brand will feel right at home with their club amenities, and tourists will love the easy access to everything in the city. For a corporate hotel, the InterContinental still provides personal touches with a great spa, gym, pool, and dining and drinking options.

Fodor's Expert Review

A giant hotel in the middle of one of the busiest areas of Bangkok, the InterContinental is a 37-floor behemoth with seven dining and drinking options, a spa, rooftop pool, and over 300 well-appointed rooms. With a BTS Skytrain station outside the front door, guests have access to every part of the city, and with shopping, dining, and attractions in the area, it’s perfect for walking to anything you could want or need.

Marble-laden bathrooms have separate showers and tubs and feature Agraria bath products.

Lobby

To say the lobby is expansive would be an understatement. Underneath a giant crystal chandelier, guests can while away on cozy furnishings or nibble on bites at the various dining and drinking establishments strewn throughout.

Pool

A small rooftop pool is surrounded by foliage and epic views of the city. The Oasis Pool Bar is swim-up ready for those who like to eat and drink while wet.

There’s absolutely no shortage of food options here. There’s Fireplace Grill and Bar for steak lovers. There's Theo Mio Italian Kitchen for pasta fans. There's The Deli for quick Euro-style bites. And, last but not least, there's the Summer Palace for Cantonese specialties.

Tip At Espresso (the hotel’s coffee shop) there’s a great Sunday brunch with live jazz.

Besides the Oasis Pool Bar, drinkers can check out the Balcony Lounge and Humidor Cigar Bar for incredible whiskies and smoldering stogies.
