Fodor's Review

Built during the Ayutthaya period by skilled craftsman, Wat Yai Suwannaram has a 300-year-old painting in its main hall, a library on stilts above a fishpond (to deter termites), and an ax mark above one of the temple doors, said to have been left by a Burmese invader.
