Getting Here & Around

By Bus

Buses depart from Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal for Samut Songkram (1½ hours, B45) every hour from 3 am to 6:30 pm. Bus 996 can drop you off at Ampawa.

By Car

Route 35, the main road south to Samut Songkram (1 hour) is mainly a two-lane highway that can be slow going if there's heavy traffic. Add an extra half hour to all trip times for possible delays.

By Songthaew

In town, there are frequent songthaews to Don Hoi Lod and Ampawa (10 minutes, B15).
