Wat Tham Khao Pun

Wat Tham Khao Pun Review

Less than 1 km (½ mile) southwest of the Chong-Kai War Cemetery you'll find Wat Tham Khao Pun, one of the best cave-temples in the area. A guide at the small shrine outside the cave will direct you. Inside, between the stalagmites and stalactites, are Buddhist and Hindu statues and figurines. During WWII the Japanese used the cave complex as a series of storerooms.
