Roses are just a part of this complex where herbs, bananas, and various flowers, including orchids and roses, flourish. Within the complex are traditional houses and a performance stage, where shows include dancing, Thai boxing, sword fighting, and even wedding ceremonies (daily at 2:45 pm). The park is popular with Thai families, and has restaurants and a nice hotel with rooms starting at B2,600.

Our family stayed here in Feb 2009 for our daughter's wedding, which was superbly managed by the resort. Her husband to be arrived on an elephant! The monks came and chanted the traditional Buddhist ceremonies. The staff here went to amazing efforts to make a large group from several countries so welcome - we felt like family, and the food and service was perfect, as was the quiet efficent way the aircon was fixed after it stopped working - the large
pool was clean and most welcome. We stayed in one of the traditional houses, which meant a couple of hundreds yards walk to the hotel proper for meals, but it was worth it to experience this type of building, and the lovely walk amongst the lush gardens. Some parts of the resort are a bit tired perhaps, but this was truly a great escape from the crowds and dirt of Bangkok - the option to take boat trips up the river from the hotel was a wonderful way to widen the experience. My adult daughters enjoyed the Thai show, best liking learning how to make flower garlands - for myself,I just enjoyed strolling around the lovely lush gardens.
