Getting Here & Around

By Car

Via car (1½ hours), take Route 35, the main road south from Bangkok then continue on Highway 4 to Phetchaburi province. On the way back to Bangkok, there are two possible routes. Follow signs to Samut Songkram for the shorter distance (Route 35).

By Bus

Buses depart Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal for Phetchaburi (2 hours, B126) every 30 minutes from 5 am to 9 pm. The bus station is north of town, near the night market. All trains to southern Thailand stop at Phetchaburi (3 hours, B94-B114). The train station is north of town on Rot Fai Road. You can hire motorbikes taxis or tuk-tuks from the train or bus station to get to sights and/or downtown.

By Bike

Renting a bike or a motorbike at Rabieng Guesthouse (B120 per day for a bike, B200 per day for a motorbike) is a good way to get around town.
