By Bus
Buses to Damnoen Saduak (2 to 3 hours, B73) leave Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal every 20 minutes starting at 5 am. From the station in Damnoen Saduak, walk or take a songthaew along the canal for 1½ km (1 mi) to the floating market. Buses also run from Nakhon Pathom and between Samut Songkram.
By Car
Via car from Bangkok (about 2 hours), take Highway 4 (Phetkasem Road) and turn left at Km 80. Continue for 25 km (16 mi) along the Bang Phae-Damnoen Saduak Road. The half-hour drive from Samut Songkram to Damnoen Saduak, along Route 325, is pleasant, particularly if you go via Ampawa.
