Sentosa Island

Sentosa, which means "peace and tranquillity" in Malay, is far from tranquil these days. Located to the south of the main island, and connected to it via a causeway, this former fishing village was converted into a holiday resort back in 1968. Singapore is made up of 63 islands, and they have several other spots that are well worth a visit.
