Mandarin Orchard Singapore
Fodor's Finds Hotels
Book NowMandarin Orchard Singapore Review
The grand main lobby has black-and-white Italian marble and a huge mural, 87 Taoist Immortals, which is based on an 8th-century Chinese scroll. Guest rooms have Asian themes with modern amenities and the upper floors command fabulous views of the harbor, the city, and Malaysia. Deluxe rooms have separate shower cubicles. Tour groups are the mainstay here though. The eateries are frequented by locals and include the Pine Court; the Top of the M, a revolving restaurant; Triple 3, a buffet restaurant; as well as the 24-hour Chatterbox coffeehouse.

I stayed one night. Check in was easy and I was given a complimentary upgrade to the newly referbished wing. The room was a little small but very nice. Great bathroom too. The hotel is big and a bit impersonal feeling.
