Marina Bay Sands Review
This hotel has already become a Singaporean icon. The resort has drawn oohs and ahs for its dazzling architecture, and its stunning array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Equally important is its privileged location across the bay from Singapore's Central Business District. Each of the sumptuously appointed rooms has floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the city skyline or the South China Sea. As if that weren't enough, the entire three-tower mega-structure is capped by a 1.2 hectare SkyPark, which features the largest pool in the world at its height, 200 meters above ground. Also on offer are a casino, two theaters, 300 shops, and 50 eateries, including restaurants by Guy Savoy, Wolfgang Puck, and Daniel Boulud. The building may be iconic, but its amateurish, art "light" exhibitions leave much to be desired.

Paradise in the Sky
Singapore is no stranger to mind-boggling luxury, but the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort takes things to the next level—literally. The hotel's three 55-story towers, which dominate the view of Singapore's Marina Bay, are capped by a monumental, open-air SkyPark. At its heart, set among the restaurants, gardens, and ultra-cool club and lounge, is a jewel-like infinity pool that gazes across the bay at Singapore's glittering skyline. The rest of the resort's offerings, from its celebrity chef restaurants, to its luxury spa, casino, theaters, myriad shops, and iconic Arts Science Museum, are similarly built to impress. But like some exotic bird of paradise, Marina Bay Sands stands out for its elaborate headdress.
