Nadaman
Nadaman Review
Unlike other Japanese restaurants in Singapore, this refined restaurant has a somewhat casual atmosphere due in part to its split-level open dining area. You can order sushi and sashimi, tempura, or kaiseki, and watch the teppanyaki chef perform his culinary calisthenics while you eat. Try one of the prix-fixe bento (box) lunches. The service is discretely attentive; note that the staff may try to steer you toward such tourist-friendly eats as tempura or grilled foods rather than more-traditional meals. If you're eating in a group, ask for a private room at the far end of the dining area for the most attentive service.
