$$-$$$$, French, Colonial Singapore
Fodor's Review:
The menu at this smart and showy-colored restaurant does indeed "tease the palate." An attentive staff delivers great picks, like the creamy, yet light, mushroom soup served like a cappuccino, veal cheek in Madeira sauce, and Maine lobster tagliarini in aromatic oil. Theatergoers can nosh on post- or preshow tapas at the bar up front. To get here, walk through the underground City Link and up to the ground level Raffles Link; look for a small sign on the left.
