Like the precious stone it's named for, this restaurant has both exquisite and intriguing attributes. Inside, the theme follows an eclectic Asian thread with Vietnamese hanging lamps and Chinese calligraphy. Similarly, the food is fundamentally Chinese but with modern and regional accents. Dip into the skewered pan-seared scallops and greens with lemongrass in mango dressing, or rich cocoa-flavored pork ribs with spinach in raspberry vinaigrette. For something light and nourishing, the homemade spinach tofu with Japanese nameko mushrooms and crispy conpoy (dried scallops) is popular for lunch.
