Fodor's Review:

Unlike its namesake, a charismatic 1920s physician with a penchant for alcohol, this first-rate fusion restaurant has few flaws. The eatery is styled in colonial meets European details, and is known for its attentive service and subtle, yet mouthwatering, food. Best bets include the crab cakes with Malay turmeric sauce, the spit-roasted beef tenderloin drizzled with vindaloo jus, and, for dessert, the caramelized macadamia and chocolate crunch bars with Hawaiian berries. Opt for the booths with white curtains for extra privacy.
