Singapore Art Museum
Singapore Art Museum Review
Previously this museum was an all-boys Catholic St. Joseph's institution until 1987. It reopened as a museum in 1996 and has a 6,000-piece permanent collection that includes modern and contemporary art from all over Southeast Asia. One of the highlights is the E-Mage Gallery, which displays 20th-century art on large, high-definition monitors. A regularly rotating permanent collection shares space with visiting exhibits.
