Fodor's Review

When this Morton's branch opened in 1998 it was the first of its kind outside the U.S., and since then it has become an adopted favorite among Singaporean carnivores. Morton's characteristic dark-wood paneling, linen napkins and tablecloths, and subdued lighting are all here, as are the juicy cuts of filet mignon, porterhouse steak, and USDA prime-aged beef. Portions are huge—and pricey. On the other hand, the filet mignon sandwiches, served during happy hour on a first

come, first serve basis at the bar here, are free.

Morton's of Chicago Review

Impressed with their consistency, great hospitality and most important is the quality of food. USDA Prime beef is prepared perfectly with my likings. Started the night with jumbo lump crab cake, baked 5 onions soup as appetizer. One shouln't miss out the chilled ocean platter. Mind you, I never eat oyster all these while till I tried the oysters at Morton's. This platter consists of lobster meat, crab meat, oyster, huge shrimp and last but not least,

the Alaskan king crab legs. Skipped the salad, go straight to entree, USDA Prime Rib Eye was my favorite! Generous portion with perfect preparation. Taste the pure steak flavor without adding any sauces. Complemented with side dishes like asparagus and spinach. Last but not least, the legendary hot chocolate cake. Yummy to the MAX! After all, I felt contented with great satisfactory. It is definitely value to money. A good place to host guests and to impress your guest!

Finally USDA prime beef is back in Singapore Morton's. Try the usda prime rib-eye, cajun spiced rib-eye or make sure you reserve your generous portion of USDA PRIME-RIB upon making reservations..service is friendly yet professional and the restaurant itself is absolutley your appetite for the big portions and it's okay to share and save room for the heavenly hot chocolate cake which is the best anywhere! Wine list is varied with

wines of all prices available primarily featuring Napa Valley and Australian with Chile and France represented kept secrets are the Seafood and wine by the glass selections....enjoy!

Great food but no more USA beef. Instead Australian beef is used. The waiter Hai gets very upset when you don't tip him and turns nasty. Singapore has a 10% service charge added to the bill so tipping is optional for the guest. Dr. Michael Lim The Travelling Gourmet
