Tour Lao Review

This popular corner eatery sets the standard for food in Pakse, and arguably in all of Southern Laos. Made up of an indoor air-conditioned room and a large outdoor venue with wooden tables, Tour Lao is popular with Thai tour groups and locals, as well as foreigners in the know. The kitchen churns out a variety of tasty dishes: fusion-style green curry spaghetti; pork rolls stuffed with Napa cabbage; and spicy favorites like red duck curry or Mekong fish salad. There's plenty of beer to quench your thirst, and a live band plays regularly in high season.
