Le Provençal
Le Provençal Review
A local family that lived in France for many years runs this little bistro behind Nam Phu Square. Chef Daniel's menu is almost exclusively French, although there's a hybrid pizza à la française. Try the beef-based terrine du maison to start, then sink your teeth into chicken niçoise, frogs' legs à la lyonnaise, or fillet of fish à la Provençale. Save room for such desserts as crème caramel and chocolate mousse. On sunny days, you can sit on the terrace overlooking the square.
