Getting Here & Around

Buses from Udomxai make the nine-hour run to Phongsaly daily at 8 am (80,000 kip). You can also get here by boat from Muang Khua when the water levels are high enough; the six-hour trip is 150,000 kip per person. In town, tuk-tuks can take you wherever you need to go for 10,000 kip.
