Meimei-an Teahouse
Meimei-an Teahouse Review
Meimei-an Teahouse, built in 1779, is one of Japan's best-preserved teahouses. For ¥400 you can contemplate the mysteries of Matsue-jo, and for ¥400 more, you get tea and a sweet. To get here, leave Shiroyama Koen, the castle park, at its east exit and follow the moat going north; at the top of the park a road leads to the right, northwest of the castle. The teahouse is a short climb up this road.
