Menus

In the more popular tourist areas English menus are often available, but if not most menus have photo illustrations and there is nearly always someone who can speak a little English. Many less expensive restaurants have plastic replicas of the dishes they serve, displayed in their front windows, so you can always point to what you want to eat if the language barrier is insurmountable.
