Granbell Hotel Shibuya Review

Location, location, location—that's the Granbell, and with a minimalist pop-art style to boot. This gray-walled boutique hotel, tucked within a cluster of restaurants and shops near the West Exit of Shibuya Station, features rooms that are small but tastefully outfitted with crisp linens and, in the main building, curtains dotted with a Lichtenstein-inspired mountain scene. Front doors are colored in a slick green, and bathrooms are glass-enclosed and feature overhead showers. A lounge, which is located just to the side of the reception desk, offers cocktails in the evening; a full restaurant, has a menu of beef and fish dishes; and the cafe serves beer, coffee, and small snacks.
