Fodor's Review:

Arguably Tokyo's hippie bastion, the twisting streets and alleyways of Shimokitazawa boast used-clothing shops, record stores, and knick-knack outlets that generally offer low prices. Fans of anime or manga, and their character good offshoots, will be glad that neither is in short supply. Just follow the scent of patchouli oil from the station.
