Tokyo Midtown

Fodor's Review:

The trend towards luxury mini-city development projects, which started with Roppongi Hills in 2003, is improving the dynamic of the city. With Tokyo Midtown, Mitsui Fudosan aims to create the tallest building in Tokyo, using a collaboration of international architects. The complex will include a Ritz-Carlton and the Midtown Tower, which will house Tokyobusinesses, upscale residences, museums, restaurants, shops, and convention halls in adjacent buildings. The top floor of the Midtown Tower will offer a spectacular view of Tokyo. For locals, the new medical center associated with Johns Hopkins University is a welcome addition to Roppongi.
