In most Roppongi hot spots, tequila is pounded one shot at a time so it goes straight into the bloodstream. Not so at Agave: this authentic Mexican cantina treats the spirit with a little more respect, and your palate will be tempted by a choice of more than 400 tequilas and mezcals. A single shot can cost between ¥800 and ¥10,000, but most of the varieties here aren't available anywhere else in Japan, so the steep prices are worth paying.
