$$-$$$, Shinjuku-ku
Fodor's Review:
This cereal-box-shape hotel, which has a reputation as a business destination, serves its guests with a classic touch. A greeter sporting a black top hat, for example, welcomes you into a lobby of generous marble and high ceilings. Equipped with spacious closets and dressing tables, the standard rooms are plenty big, and the Plaza Premier rooms have the latest in modern furniture design -- no shortage of curved wood and metal here. The Sky Pool is actually two pools, one rectangular for laps and the other circular for lounging; both afford views of Shinjuku's steel-and-concrete skyscrapers.
