Grand Pacific Le Daiba

Fodor's Review:

A sprawling complex at the tip of a human-made peninsula in Tokyo Bay, the Meridien is a good choice for conventioneers at the nearby Tokyo Big Site. European-inspired columns, pedestals, and flowery furnishings fill the entrance hall. This theme carries over to the rather sizeable rooms, decorated in shades of gold and brown. Rooms facing Haneda Airport and the Museum of Maritime Science (which resembles a large ship) are ¥6,000 less than those overlooking the Rainbow Bridge and the flat-roofed boats ferrying passengers within the harbor.

  • Hotel Details: 796 rooms, 88 suites
  • In-hotel: 8 restaurants, room service, bars, pools, gym.
  • Credit Cards: AE, DC, MC, V
