This very fashion-minded restaurant is a joint venture of L'Orangerie in Paris and couturier Mori Hanae. Muted elegance marks the dining room, with cream walls and deep brown carpets; mirrors add depth to a room that actually seats only 40. The ambitious prix-fixe menus change every two weeks; the recurring salad of sautéed sweetbreads is excellent, as is the grilled Atlantic salmon. This is a particularly good place to be on Sunday between 11 and 2:30, for the buffet brunch (¥3,500), during which you can graze through to what is arguably the best dessert tray in town; try the pear tart or the daily chocolate-cake special.
