Jidaiya

Jidaiya Review

Entering Jidaiya, which loosely translates as "period house," is like stepping into an Edo-period tavern. Most locals order from ornately drawn strips of paper that hang from high on the walls. If you are not sure what to order, leave it up to the chef (omakase) and you will be served a selection of shabu-shabu, tempura, sushi, rice dishes, and grilled fish. The food's not so fancy, but it's filling and delicious.
