The largest tempura restaurant in Tokyo, with six floors of table and tatami seating, welcomes foreign customers and makes a visit easy with English menus. This is a family restaurant. Don't expect much in the way of decor—just lots of food at very reasonable prices. Asakusa is a must on any itinerary, and tempura teishoku (an assortment of delicate batter-fried fish, seafood, and fresh vegetables) is the specialty of the district. Aoi-Marushin's location, just a few minutes' walk from the entrance to Senso-ji temple, makes it an obvious choice after a visit to the temple.
