$$$$, Shibuya-ku
Fodor's Review:
The pricey Cerulean Tower, perched on a slope above Shibuya's chaos, has a cavernous yet bustling lobby filled with plenty of attentive, English-speaking staffers. The rooms afford generous views of Tokyo, but considering the price, the furnishings are rather plain. Some rooms include windows in the bathroom to allow for bath-time city gazing. Fans of the original Japanese Iron Chef TV program might want to dine at Szechwan Restaurant Chen, whose menu is directed by one of the show's combatants, Kenichi Chen. There's a charge (¥2,100 per day) to use the pool, which is off-limits to people with tattoos.
