Fujiya Ryokan Review

Modern luxury permeates Fujiya Ryokan, which has the ambience of an art gallery. Designed by architect Kuma Kengo, the immaculate guest rooms are equipped with state-of-art amenities. The five exquisite pools made from different natural materials such as granite, bamboo, and Japanese cypress provide total relaxation and are available for private use only (¥2,000 per hour). Because the inn does not have dining facilities, you'll receive two substantial yet sublime Japanese meals served in your room. Obanazawa is 19 km (approximately 13 minutes via bullet train) from the center of Yamagata.
