A variety of Tsugaru lacquerware and handicrafts made in Aomori and Tohoku are available at reasonable prices here, and if you are into folk arts, it is fun just to poke around even if you don't buy anything. Staff can help you find what you look for and explain the products. It's on Shinmachi-dori, the main street, a short walk from the station.
