Fodor's Review

The house specialty is reimen, a dish of clear, slippery noodles made from flour, starch, and water. Originally from Korea, the noodles are frequently combined with spicy kimchi. Daido-En's reimen is plenty spicy, and comes with half a boiled egg, green onions, pickles, a slice or two of meat, and a fat wedge of watermelon (¥892). Quality local beef is also available for at-your-table grilling, but it's on the pricey side considering the portions. Look for the

red sign with yellow and black letters.
