Hotel Metropolitan Morioka Review
A renovation in 2008 gave all rooms a fresh look and a clean, modern design. A 24-hour convenience store replaced the old coffee shop, though the gloomy lobby remains the same. A bonus: guests can use the Central Fitness Club facilities for ¥525, including a 25-meter pool, a diving pool, squash courts, weight machines, a sauna, and a Jacuzzi. Next door, a newer annex hosts many wedding banquets and has 121 pastel-color rooms with Euro-touches, but rooms in both parts of the hotel are similarly sized.
