Ryokan Sendaiya Review

Built in the 1930s, this four-story wooden building is a typically small, family-run ryokan. It is also a member of the ever-reliable, always reasonable Japan Inn Group. You'll find a coin-operated laundry for guest use and large communal alkaline hot-spring baths (but none in the rooms). The meals are decent and cheap: ¥840 for Japanese or Western breakfast, ¥1,800 for dinner (Japanese only). Exit the east side of the station, and turn left (north). When you pass the NHK Building, turn right, and make the next left. It's on the left, about the middle of the block.
