Resort Inn Matsushima Review

Casual and family-friendly, this affordable hotel is a great option for budget travelers. It does not have a restaurant, but ¥2,000 will buy you a Japanese or sushi dinner at nearby restaurants. Breakfast is a simple Continental style, and it's quite enjoyable to have your breakfast on a terrace overlooking the distant bay. Ask for a room on the second floor; some have nice ocean views. When you come out of the JR Matsushima Kaigan Station, make a right, go under the tracks, then turn right again and climb the hill—the hotel is on the left. If you arrive between 3 and 6, ask for free pickup at the station since the hill is steep and can be daunting.
