Warung Bali Review

The dulcet sounds of the gamelan drift about Warung Bali, a tidy Indonesian restaurant serving Balinese food. The tempeh goring (tempeh with shrimp paste, tomato, and chili peppers) and tofu with peanut sauce are simply amazing. Owner and chef Made Widjaja is on hand to do more than inspire Japanese to eat nasi campur (rice topped with meats, vegetables, and peanuts, and eggs) with their hands; he speaks fluent English and can custom-make dishes, a relief for vegetarians dining in Japan.
