Kanazawa New Grand Hotel Review

Stepping into this hotel's sleek black-and-cream marble lobby is a refreshing break from the dreary concrete of the main drag outside. From the sky lounge, Dichter, and restaurant, Sky Restaurant Roi, you get a great view of Oyama Shrine and the sunset. The spacious rooms, though far from new, are done in white-and-beige tones, and have sofas. Japanese-style rooms are slightly larger, but furnishings are spare. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the station, if you head down Eki-mae-dori and take a right on Hikoso-odori.

    Hotel Details

  • 100 Western-style rooms, 2 Japanese-style rooms, 2 suites.
  • Rate includes no meals.
