Pole-Pole Review

Pronounced "po-ray po-ray," this reggae bar is run by the same jolly owner as the restaurant Legian, which sits next door. If you want to sit, arrive before midnight. The two dark, cramped rooms get so full that the crowd spills out into the hallway. Pole-Pole is open until 5 am every night except Sunday.

    Pole-Pole Review

This is a great place for the low key traveler or backpacker alike. Really friendly staff and some even speak English. Peanuts line the floor and fun music plays as crowds gather round to bars and exchange stories. Great communal place to come meet some new friends from the locals and fellow travelers
