Hakui
Hakui Review
The train from Kanazawa runs along the coast until Hakui, 40 minutes from Kanazawa. Some buses from here continue along the scenic coastal to Myojo-ji temple and Wajima (others go by the inland route). If you have your own bike you can cycle along the coastal path as far as beautiful Gan-mon (Sea Gate), some 26 km (16 mi) away, where you can stop for lunch. Just north of Chirihama, a formerly popular and now unkempt beach, the scenery improves.
