Fodor's Review

The specialty here, wappa-meshi (rice steamed in a wooden box with toppings of salmon, chicken, or crab), makes an inexpensive and excellent lunch. The yanagi karei hitohoshi-yaki (grilled flounder), nodo-kuro shioyaki (grilled local whitefish), and buri teriyaki (yellowtail) will make your mouth water. Inaka-ya, which closes between lunch and dinner from 2 to 5, is found in the heart of Furu-machi, the local eating and drinking district.
