Jyoseikan Review

"Fit for a king" is an expression we take for granted, but watch yourself—Jyoseikan is where the Emperor stays when the royal family comes to Kochi. A monumental, somewhat dated exterior gives way to a grand interior with spacious bedrooms (some strangely decorated), exquisite tatami suites, and a sauna and bath with wonderful prospects of the city and castle. Two stops west of Harimaya-bashi by tram.
