Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Museum

Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Museum Review

Ryoma was a radical and a revolutionary during the turbulent times before the Meiji Restoration, and the political changes he instigated were big enough to get him killed; at the Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Museum(Sakamoto Ryoma Kinenkan), jutting fabulously over the sand and surf, you can see the blood-splashed screen from the room where he was assassinated, and learn about his life and politics. You'll finally know who the cowboyish samurai is plastered on every street corner in Kochi. One stop before Katsurahama on an orange Kenkotsu bus, the trip takes 40 minutes.
