Fodor's Review:
The black-and-chrome facade of the Takamatsu Shin-designed Kirin Plaza was controversial when unveiled, but today defines the Dotombori skyline. Inside is a branch of the Kirin City beer-hall chain, which has a working microbrewery in full view. The restaurant, on the third floor, serves mixed Japanese and Western dishes such as avocado tempura and hot salads. There are contemporary art exhibitions on the upper floors and a great view of the neonscape from the restaurant.
