Royal means Emperor, and the royal family stays here when visiting Osaka. Built in the 1930s, the Royal contains more than 20 restaurants, bars, and karaoke rooms, and no fewer than 60 shops – in addition to nearly 1,000 rooms. The West Wing has standard rooms for business travelers, the Tower Wing standard and executive floors. Each executive floor has a nature theme, so depending on your mood stay on the forest, sky, flower, or sea floors. A stay in the VIP tower means free access to the swimming club's two sun-roof pools (other guests pay ¥2,000). A shuttle bus goes to the Umeda and Yodoya-bashi stations.
