$$$, French, Kita-ku
Fodor's Review:
The city's premier hotel restaurant serves extremely good French food. The wood-paneled La Baie is more akin to a Georgian nobleman's dining room than a formal restaurant -- smart but relaxed. Service is impeccable, and wines are specially chosen to complement three of the four full-course menus available. The special weekday ladies' menu is a good introduction to the Ritz Carlton's culinary refinement. Warmed chocolate biscuit with whipped amaretto is the signature dessert. Reservations recommended.
